Custom Java Config File Download and Instructions

IMSS recommends downloading and installing the custom Java configuration files on your computer. Installing these configuration files will further assist with security and compatibility with IMSS applications and it will prevent persistent, yet harmless, security warnings from appearing when using specific IMSS applications.

Download all 3 custom Java config files here
This download requires access.caltech login credentials and a Caltech network connection (use Caltech VPN if off campus).

Windows
Copy the 3 downloaded Java config files to this location on your computer. Create the directory if it does not exist.
C:\Windows\Sun\Java\Deployment

Mac
Copy the 3 downloaded Java config files to this location on your computer. Create the directory if it does not exist.
/Library/Application Support/Oracle/Java/Deployment

Linux
Copy the 3 downloaded Java config files to this location on your computer. Create the directory if it does not exist.
