Effective January 11, 2024, OneDrive storage will have new limits as described below. This change is in response to Microsoft's new storage policy, which greatly reduces the allocated OneDrive storage available to its customers. Learn more about IMSS' various storage offerings.
New OneDrive Limits
Faculty, Postdocs, Students, and Staff - A3 licensees | Guests, Visitors, External Affiliates and Staff (light Microsoft users) - A1 licensees | |
---|---|---|
OneDrive Default | 50GB | 50GB |
OneDrive Max Free (upon request) | 200GB | 100GB* |
Additional Storage | 100GB/$40/year | N/A |
*Effective February 1, 2024, Microsoft will impose a hard limit of 100GB OneDrive storage for all A1 licensees. IMSS will not be able to increase the storage on these accounts.
