Instructions
- The campus Maple license server, which served versions 9 and 10, transitioned to serve Maple 14, effective July 1st, 2010. Standalone installations for versions 9 and 10 continue to work; only network installations (UNIX) are affected.
- On July 12, 2012 the Maple license server that hosted Maple 11, 12 and 13 retired. This means that all network installations of Maple 11, 12 and 13 have ceased to function. Note that older standalone installations for Maple 11, 12 and 13 are not affected.
- Older installations of Maple 14 are the only version that can be used as a network license.
- Updates and service packs for Maple products can be downloaded from http://www.maplesoft.com/support/downloads/index.aspx.
Standalone activation instructions for Maple 15, 16, 17:
- Launch Install.
- Select the Standalone Installation (Single User) option.
- Enter the standalone purchase code from your Maple purchase receipt via software.caltech.edu. You do not need to enter any server name, since you are installing as a standalone/single-user.
Network activation instructions for Maple 14:
- Launch Install.
- Select the Network Installation option.
- When prompted for the serial number and license server name, enter the network purchase code and license server address information from your Maple purchase receipt via software.caltech.edu (leave default port number).
