Screen Sharing Instructions

When sharing your screen IMSS recommends sharing only the necessary application or window on your screen and not the entire desktop. This prevents participants from seeing information on your desktop that you do not intend to share.

Instructions

  • In the Zoom meeting host controls click on Share
  • A window will come up with a list of available applications or windows you can share
  • Select the window you would like to share, for example Chrome, PowerPoint, Word, etc. (do not select "Desktop 1")
