The following guide will help you configure your Caltech alumni email on the Mail client provided with your iOS device.

Password Reset Instructions

If this is your first time using your alumni account and you have never reset your password, please reset your password and configure your password recovery questions before configuring your email.

Email Configuration Instructions

Note: Before following these instructions, make sure that the OS on your phone is up to date.

  1. Make sure you are running an updated OS on your mobile device
  2. Launch Settings
  3. Select Mail
  4. Select Accounts
  5. Select Add Account
  6. Select Microsoft Exchange
  7. In the email address field, enter your access.caltech username in the format username@alumni.caltech.onmicrosoft.com (e.g. jsmith@alumni.caltech.onmicrosoft.com). Do not use a preferred email address, it MUST be your username
  8. Enter an Account Description (e.g. Caltech Alumni Email)
  9. Click Next from the top. If prompted, click on Sign In and the enter your access.caltech password
  10. Select Save to complete
